Mother

We are all born of mother. Both unique and ubiquitous, we only exist because women have and continue to adopt this role that transforms body, mind, and spirit. Conceiving, carrying, and delivering new life is one of the most magical and mysterious phenomena in which humans participate.

As we acknowledged and celebrated Mother’s Day yesterday, I would simply like to offer my thanks to all mothers for the gift that they have extended that allows us to be here and to know love.

And a special thanks to my mom, to whom I owe my chiropractic inheritance, and my partner, Adria, with whom I share the privilege of parenthood.
