As many of you know, my health and other factors have directed me toward a full-time position teaching at the University of Western States Chiropractic College in Portland and away from my original dream of providing full-time patient care at the coast.  We need more chiropractic care available in Manzanita and I won’t be able to provide it by myself. So when Dr. Daniel Mutter thoughtfully expressed his desire to be more involved here and take the reins of OCC, I knew in my heart it would be the best option.  

I have gotten to know Dr. Dan over the last few years as a Manzanita neighbor and colleague. I was struck by his thoroughness, knowledge, experience, and genuine care.  It felt like meeting a kindred spirit who loves this work and the North Coast community as much as I do. 

I am pleased to have OCC continue in positivity and excellence and see what Dr. Dan will bring to the table. As Dr. Dan assumes operational control and offers more appointments and local availability, I plan to continue in a supporting role. I encourage everyone to get to know Dr. Dan and experience his care. Our techniques are not identical - there are many ways to approach health and chiropractic and many avenues to success. I believe his fresh perspective will be illuminating!   

I cannot thank you enough for putting your trust in me these past 7 years and for all the laughs!  I am honored to be your friend and chiropractor. I look forward to seeing you around town and on beach walks. Here’s to us and the beautiful evolution of Oregon Coast Chiropractic!
